First of all, Impeachment is one step closer to reality for Glorious Leader. A report by the Congressional Research Service has stated that the domestic spying is not based in law but in hubris. The scandals just keep coming in D.C. First everyone was a twitter over the implications of Abramoff rolling over on as many as 60 lawmakers. Later in the week it was revealed that Duke Cunningham wore a wire in some of his meetings with lawmakers and defense contractors before he resigned from Congress. The implications of the these two scandals are enormous, especially for one Tom Delay. And speaking of, the Republicans in the House have decided to bail on Tom and request elections for new leadership positions, which puts a permanent lid on DeLay's ambitions to return to his Majority Leader's Office. Last but not least is the upcoming hearings for the Alito Nomination to the SCOTUS. There were a few petitions I missed when I posted them earlier. Because that post comes up on the first page of a google search (link #6) I am going to just add the new ones to this post and update that one so they will all be in one place.
