Clinton And The Blogs

Slick Willy & the WebBill Clinton I know...   Two posts in a row about Clinton.   Besides ρíššíηg öƒƒ thé ϖíηgηútš, I think it is important that this little meeting of the minds between Bill and the liberal bloggers be documented.   With all the really important news kidda eating this occurance out of the news cycles, many may not have even noticed it.

I am more or less interested in seeing how Slick Willy (Big Dawg) will take advantage of the blogs and the web after November.   As I was reminded in the post below by friends, Bill was not trusted by a lot of folks.   Many of the liberal blogs like Kos, MYDD and others do not like Hillary for 08 either.   I do think it worth noting that Slick Willy thinks it is worth his time meeting with these liberal bloggers.   Politicians like him never do things without a reason.

Jane Hamsher of firedoglake was on Olbermann (Video at Crooks and Liars) talking about this meeting with Clinton.   She is a very smart lady and proved it by the way she handled herself.   It is worth taking a look at, for sure, if you missed it. - ƒç

9/12/2006

Among those attending, that I can recall, were Atrios, Joe in DC and me, Chris Bowers and Matt Stoller from MyDD, McJoan from DailyKos, John Amato from Crooks & Liars (by phone from CA), Jane and Christy from FDL, Liberal Oasis, Steve from CarpetBagger, Jeraly and son from TalkLeft, Dave Johnson from Seeing the Forest, and I'm sure a few others I'm forgetting.

Anti War Politics - The 21st Century Peace Movement

30,000 weblogs. One Day. One Voice.
When the list reaches 30,000, a date and a word will be listed on the page. On that date, every weblog on the list agrees to make a single post with the word as the title. The content of the post should be about what you want for the world, whatever that may be. The purpose is not to make a particular political statement, but simply to make a noise. If 30,000 weblogs all post the same unusual word, it WILL be heard.
