Terrorists' Mail Still Not Monitored

The Ones In Prison       If we were not living in Bushji's Bizzaro World this would be an outrage.   These are not just jihadi-come-lately suspects or people we have no clue as to where they are at.   These are terrorists in our PRISONS.   The fancy maximum security one in Colorado especially.   Bushji made a big deal about the folks that got sent there could not see, talk to or associate with other prisoners.   Evidently another of the many Bushji lies.   Here is a quote from the official transcript of Bushji talking down the dems in a rally the base speech ::

"If you don't think we should be listening in on the terrorist, then you ought to vote for the Democrats. If you want your government to continue listening in when al-Qaeda planners are making phone calls into the United States, then you vote Republican."

If this is not the height of hubris, I don't know what is.   Bushji is not even competent enough to isolate them, even in our own prisons.   Unforkin' believable...   He can pour billions of dollars into Haliburton's back pocket but he can't hire enough people to monitor terrorists, we have already caught...   - ƒç

Prison system yet to crack down on incarcerated terrorists, report finds

WASHINGTON - Convicted terrorists locked up in U.S. prisons can still use mail and verbal communications to conduct terrorist or criminal activities, according to a report (pdf file) issued Tuesday by the Department of Justice's inspector general.

The inspector general launched a review after a series of NBC News Investigative Unit reports in February and March 2005 revealed that jailed terrorists - even those responsible for the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center - were continuing to support jihadists and encourage violence around the world.

"We found that the BOP (Bureau of Prisons) has not effectively monitored the mail of terrorist and other high-risk inmates," concludes the 122-page report.

In 2005, Lisa Myers and the NBC News Investigative Unit reported that, while behind bars at the Administrative Maximum Penitentiary in Florence, Colo., the 1993 World Trade Center bombers continued their terrorist activities, writing letters to other suspected terrorists and brazenly praising Osama bin Laden in Arabic newspapers. The prison, also known as "Supermax," houses the largest number of and most dangerous terrorist inmates.

Anti War Politics - The 21st Century Peace Movement

30,000 weblogs. One Day. One Voice.
When the list reaches 30,000, a date and a word will be listed on the page. On that date, every weblog on the list agrees to make a single post with the word as the title. The content of the post should be about what you want for the world, whatever that may be. The purpose is not to make a particular political statement, but simply to make a noise. If 30,000 weblogs all post the same unusual word, it WILL be heard.
