Exit Polls - Election Night

Problems All Over The Country... Election   2006 The problems with Electronic Voting from all over the country is not really surprising.   Whether it will affect the overall picture is still unclear.   Many new links posted this evening on my updated post :: E-Vote 2006 ( second post below ).

Two really surprising early revelations that many may not have expected.   The defection of 20+ percent of Evangelicals over to the Democrats surprises me, anyway.   Another aspect that is surprising is the percent of people who are voting their displeasure with corruption.   Corruption named as key issue by voters in exit polls is still amazing to see as it comes to fruition.

MSNBC has just declared Ted Stricklan the projected winner of the Governor of Ohio race. - Go Ted...
Third Of Evangelicals Vote For Dems

The Associated Press has just posted a piece on its exit polls, and just like CNN's exit polls found, AP is finding that corruption is a key issue driving voters today. AP's exit numbers are also finding a surprisingly high number of evangelicals going Dem, a trend that many political analysts noted early in the cycle:

Those early exit polls also showed that three in four voters said corruption was very important to their vote, and they tended to vote Democratic. In a sign of a dispirited GOP base, most white evangelicals said corruption was very important to their vote - and almost a third of them turned to the Democrats.

Anti War Politics - The 21st Century Peace Movement

30,000 weblogs. One Day. One Voice.
When the list reaches 30,000, a date and a word will be listed on the page. On that date, every weblog on the list agrees to make a single post with the word as the title. The content of the post should be about what you want for the world, whatever that may be. The purpose is not to make a particular political statement, but simply to make a noise. If 30,000 weblogs all post the same unusual word, it WILL be heard.
